It always starts with a story. Every time I make a hat, I picture the woman who will wear it — who she truly is. I think about where she is in her journey, and who she is becoming. I imagine the moment she tries it on — maybe wondering if she can “pull it off.” To that woman: You can. You already are. And to the woman who has worn a hundred hats and just wants to feel like a new version of herself — that spark you’re searching for — I know it. I’ve been her. I am her. This is why I started making hats. Because wearing one brought forward pieces of myself I had been looking for — parts I hadn’t yet learned how to name. I don’t make hats to change you. I make them to reveal you.
every hat tells a story
But the truth is, the real story of this hat begins when you take it home with you. That’s where everything I imagined finds its place in the world. Maybe it will travel with you to new cities. Maybe someone will tell you they’ve never seen you look more like yourself. Maybe it will be the piece that encourages someone to live boldly, too. Or maybe, one day, it will be passed into the hands of someone you love — a reminder of who you were, where you went, what you dreamed of, and how you lived. The story isn’t mine anymore. It’s yours now. My hope is simply that this hat comes with you through a life well lived.
